And my goal is.....
Creative Thinking
Work as a group of 4 for the entire semester to produce a sustainable food take-away packaging.
As a designer student we were taught to use the Design Thinking Mindset as a guild. It follows an order of 5; Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. One thing I find interesting is that we had the Forced Connection which let us come up with more unique ideas. While making Mind Map, its quantity over quality at that state. The filter idea can come later. The brain storming session took out group a really long time and we struggled. There were many changes from the initial design.
Our group choose to work with a Japanese BBQ restaurant "YAKINIKU LIKE". One of our groupmate work there as a part-timer. So we interviewed his friend that worked there to get more insides to how they strangle with take-aways.

The initial idea was pretty common; was planned to just make the normal rectangle container above the soup in a paper bag. But the Forced Connection allowed us to explore, and so the idea of pencil, then come pencil box. Then the sliding mechanism which was a fascinating idea, both for connecting the soup and covering the container. The cover box was planned to be made for a filter net, but later changed to a box to place items such as stationaries and wine bottle.
We also added the locker stick which prevent it from dropping out. The cutleries are placed in the box. The container has a space below enough to for cutleries to be there. That way its easier to set the packaging for workers.
